Joe Biden- The Perfect Figurehead for the Imperial Titanic
Joe Biden is many things.
Career politician, serial liar, inveterate warmonger, decrepit in body and demented in mind. Sociopathic, creepy, arrogant, entirely convinced his views and approaches are universally correct, despite overwhelming evidence otherwise. Absolutely ruthless in his willingness to do anything and everything to preserve every shred of his power.
A nasty, angry mediocrity of epic proportions whose greatest accomplishment in life, beyond dogged, shockingly successful self-promotion, has been greasing the wheels for usurers, to great effect, as the Senator from Credit Card.
There could be no better avatar for the failing Empire.
Avatar is an odd word. In today’s world, it means computer avatars, visual identifiers for individuals online. In one of the word’s original usages, it means “an incarnation, embodiment, or manifestation of a person or idea.” In that much more complex version of the term, there is no better example to illustrate its meaning than Joe Biden as the incarnation, embodiment, or manifestation of the decrepit, stupid, fading Empire he leads.
Avatar Joe, imperial fossil, was never going to willingly give up power, even when he is clearly not capable of doing anything other than embarrassing himself. The Empire is the same, increasingly clumsy and incompetent, but knowing nothing other than continuing to try to dominate world affairs, even as results go increasingly sideways.
The Empire’s decrepitude is showing, on numerous fronts: economically, with the slow collapse of the dollar as a reserve currency; geopolitically, as the non-West increasingly rejects American hegemony; and militarily, as Russia steadily declaws imperial cat’s paw NATO in Ukraine.
And what makes Biden and the Empire’s belligerent decrepitude particularly disturbing is the way it is combined with a dirt stupid approach almost universally. As the Empire’s power fades, its competence fades with it, with actions driven by every motivation but logic. Nowhere has the approach been more hare-brained than Ukraine.
Ditch a diplomatic solution, and instead foment a proxy conflict guaranteed to bring the full might of Russia to bear, on the brilliant thought of “bleeding” what is physically the largest country on the planet. Resulting in not only a massively disproportionate bleeding from the Ukrainians and the West in comparison, but a huge reactivation of the Russian military industrial complex.
The proxy war in Ukraine’s illogic has been obvious for years. A nation which spent most of its existence as part of Russia, where a significant portion of the population speak Russian as their first language, and which was used as an invasion route for Westerner’s trying to conquer Russia multiple times, was brilliantly seen as a safe, logical, and winning place to challenge Russia.
But stupid is the rule in the twilight of Empire. Biden has embraced that theme with gusto.
Decisions that seem beyond common sense, with no obvious reasons to not make them, from legalizing marijuana, to honoring campaign foreign policy promises like ending Cuban sanctions or reentering the Iran nuclear deal, didn’t happen. And those international relations brain farts are by far the least stupid or destructive examples of Biden diplomacy. The mess’s in Ukraine and Gaza easily top them in potential disaster.
The idiocy of blindly backing a nation doing Holocaust 2.0 (ironic, huh?) is a subject for a larger piece, but among the disasters it threatens is a drift towards a massive, disastrous, potentially nuclear regional war. With what passes for Biden’s diplomats, it is difficult to feel confident they are doing much to avoid it. The administration are masters of anti-diplomacy- they may go through the motions, but they really don’t do it. If Biden diplomacy had it’s own avatar, it would be Blinken shrugging and looking to the side. His continual trips to Israel have gotten no obvious results of any kind: opened crossings, West Bank craziness mitigated, mass murder limited in any way. And that lack of results leads to a continual trend towards wider war as the axis of resistance actually fighting Holocaust 2.0 pushes back harder and harder.

As with Ukraine, where interactions with Russia have degraded to the point that they are literally considering downgrading relations- a deeply serious threat from slow acting Russians. According to many, relations are worse than any point in the Cold War, an unsurprising situation when the US and West are providing weapons, targeting, and diplomatic cover for attacks that kill Russian civilians in Russia. All part of a deeply moronic effort to beat Russia essentially IN Russia.
But just like his fellow imperial end timers, confronted with an unwinnable war in Ukraine, Biden’s reaction to continual failure and personal poor judgement is to just put his head down, completely ignore reality, and engage in increasingly desperate, and extreme, efforts to win at all costs. The hole is getting deeper? Dig harder.
There could be no better avatar for our flailing, fading Empire. As imperial interventions limp toward disaster in Ukraine and Gaza, the only answer is more weapons, more dead, both friend and foe- although many more friend than foe in Ukraine. Not that Ukraine or the Empire will ever admit the massive losses they are racking up as increasingly untrained men are sacrificed brutally.
The disconnect between this cruel reality and MSM tales is one way the modern usage of the term avatar actually applies to Biden and the Empire. Just like a computer avatar that is a much more attractive and young cartoon version of the user, the MSM image of Biden and the Empire is completely disconnected from reality. A decrepit old man that regularly fails to navigate stairs gets cloying, enthusiastic MSM support for transparent efforts to make him look vigorous and young, to show him driving fast cars, doing things like riding (and falling off) bikes, and other things people without one foot in their grave do.
It is a fake, disinformation.
The MSM approved image for the Empire is even more dishonest, to a shocking degree. A brutal, blatantly law breaking, fading world hegemon is portrayed as vigorous and strong, a saintly knight of moral righteousness battling evil, diabolical bears and dragons.
But it’s all a massive lie, which increasingly the American public, as well as foreign leaders and their populations, are in on. American ineffectiveness against the Houthi’s, as well as clear reluctance to provide clear naval targets for Hezbollah, are not the acts of a mighty imperial colossus. And saintly and moral have no place in the conversation, while you’re supporting a genocide with your other hand.
And an unnecessary lie, as the vast majority of Americans would much prefer their taxes stay at home, and if they go abroad, not to foment wars.
But not for Yesterday’s Man, leading Yesterday’s Empire. “The Chi-com’s and the Russkies must be fought, to the bitter end! Israel must be supported, in every way!”

Perhaps having such a shining representation of the Empire’s wit and wisdom, out front for all to see, might cause a few imperial satraps to start looking for the exit? And just how brutal is the internal Democratic Party political knife fight going to get? And what sort of un-democratic shenanigan’s are suddenly going to be given houseroom in an effort to eject the corpse? I have a feeling the next few months are going to get interesting…
